Turkish airports pax up 10%, cargo up 7% in Sep-2012

Turkey's Directorate General of State Airports Authority reported (Oct-2012) the following traffic highlights at Turkish airports for nine months ended 30-Sep2-012:

• Passenger numbers: 101.3 million, +10.4% year-on-year;
  
  • Domestic: 49.0 million, +11.3%;
  • International: 51.8 million, +9.6%;
• Cargo volume: 1.9 million tons, +6.8%;
  
  • Domestic: 516,960 ton, +9.7%;
  • International: 1.3 million tons, +5.7%;
• Aircraft movements: 836,877, +4.7%;
  
  • Domestic: 455,611, +4.1%;
  • International: 381,266, +5.5%.
