Turkish Airlines revenue up 15%, operating profit up 12% in 2009

Turkish Airlines reports (06-Apr-2010) the following financial highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

  • Sales revenue: EUR3,449 million, +15% year-on-year;
  • Operating profit: EUR409.9 million, +12%;
  • Net profit: EUR275.4 million, -51%;
  • Fleet size: 132, +4% compared to the beginning of the year;
  • Passenger numbers: 25 million, +11%;
  • Capacity (ASKs): +22%;
  • Passenger load factor: 70.9%, -3.1 ppts. [more]
