Turkish Airlines reports EUR145m operating profit for 2011

Turkish Airlines reported (12-Apr-2012) an operating profit of TRY339 million (EUR145.4 million) and a net profit of TRY19 million (EUR8.1 million) on the back of a 40% year-on-year increase in sales revenue in 2011. Details include:

  • Sales revenue: +40% year-on-year
  • Operating profit: TRY339 million (EUR145.4 million);

  • Passenger numbers: 32.7 million, +12%;
