Turkish Airlines planning to buy stake in LOT Polish Airlines

Turkish Airlines reportedly plans to purchase a stake in LOT Polish Airlines with Turkish to first create a joint venture with LOT on selected routes (Reuters, 17-May-2010).

Turkish Airlines: "Our expansion is inevitable, but we don't have to immediately buy majority stakes ... Yes, we want to buy LOT. We are also talking to Serbian JAT.
