Turkish Airlines pax numbers up 20% for 9 months to Sep-2012, cargo up 27%

Turkish Airlines reports (12-Oct-2012) the following traffic highlights for the 9 months ended Sep-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 29.1 million, +19.7% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 12 million, +10.1%;
    • International: 17.2 million, +27.4%;
  • Passenger load factor: 77.9%, +5.3 ppts;
    • Domestic: 79.3%, +2.6 ppts;
    • International: 77.7%, +5.8 ppts;
  • Cargo volume: 340,856 tonnes, +26.7%;
    • Domestic: 29,171 tonnes, +5.2%;
