TUI Group revenue down 4.2% for three months ended Jun-2010

TUI Group revenue down 4.2% - consolidated financial highlights for the three months ended Jun-2010:

  • Revenue: EUR4,002 million, -4.2% year-on-year;
  • Cost of sales: EUR3,671 million, -3%;
  • Earnings before income taxes: (EUR62.1 million) compared with a loss of EUR421.4 million in p-c-p;
  • Net loss: (EUR36.3 million) compared with a loss of EUR456.8 million in p-c-p. [more]

TUI Group: "For financial year 2009/2010 TUI expects operating earnings by tourism to show a stable development, with central operations achieving cost reductions. Underlying earnings by the continuing operations therefore continue to be expected to rise slightly year-on-year.
