TransAsia Airways reports USD5m net profit in 2012, revenue up 75% in five-years
TransAsia Airways announced (10-Jan-2013) the carrier's revenue increased by 75% over the past five years, reaching TWD9499 million (USD316.6 million) in 2012. Compared to 2011, the carrier's 2012 revenue increased 8.7%. Dec-2012 revenue increased 12.69% to TWD818 million (USD27.3 million). The carrier also reported international booking rates reached at least 95% on international services during the Lunar New Year holiday period. Overall forward booking on all routes is above 90%.
