Thomson Airways to take delivery of up to four 787-9s

Thomson Airways confirmed (20-May-2015) it will take delivery of the three Boeing 787-9 aircraft currently ordered by TUI Group, in addition to one additional 787-9 should the company firm an option for the aircraft. The aircraft will be configured with 63 'Premium Club' and 282 economy class seats, and will operate to destinations in Mexico, Florida and Jamaica. Thomson Airways MD John Murphy said: "We are delighted to continue to expand our Dreamliner fleet with the addition of these larger 787-9 aircraft, allowing more of our customers to enjoy the revolutionary flying experience as they travel to their holiday destination. Over the last couple of years the Dreamliner has been a big hit and we've received excellent feedback from our customers."
