The Monarch Group appoints new chairman, CEO and CFO

The Monarch Group announced (29-Jul-2014) a number of appointments to its senior management team, with executive chairman Iain Rawlinson to step down from his role;

• Sir Roy McNulty as non-executive chairman. Sir Roy is currently chairman of London Gatwick Airport, and previously served as chairman of NATS and the Civil Aviation Authority;
• Andrew Swaffield as group CEO. Mr Swaffield is currently managing director of Monarch Airlines, a role he assumed in Apr-2014;
• Andrew Lavery as CFO. Mr Lavery joined The Monarch Group in May-2014 as group finance director.

Mr Swaffield said: "As a priority, along with our work on a new fleet of aircraft, we are currently engaged with our shareholder in a close look at our capital structure to ensure we have the most appropriate base to support future growth." [more - original PR]
