Australia commences geological studies at designated land plot for Badgerys Creek Airport

Australia Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Warren Truss announced (20-Jan-2015) geotechnical field studies have commenced on the northern area of Commonwealth-owned land at Badgerys Creek. The Australian Government has deployed a team of engineers to analyse the subsoil profile on the land ploy designated for the Badgerys Creek Airport development. The geotechnical study is part of the Government's environmental assessment scheduled for release in 2015.
