TAP Portugal net loss narrows in 2009

TAP Portugal reported a net loss of EUR3.5 million in 2009, an improvement from the EUR285 million net loss reported in 2008, adding its core airline unit registered a net profit of EUR57 million, compared to a loss of EUR209 million in the previous corresponding period (Agence France-Presse, 07-Apr-2010). The Portuguese Government plans to privatise TAP Portugal by 2013.
