TAP forecasts profit in 2012 similar to 2011 profit

TAP Portugal reportedly forecasts a profit in 2012 "similar" to the EUR3.1 million profit the carrier made in 2011, according to the carrier's internal newsletter and as reported by PressTur. The newsletter reportedly cites the carrier's strong northern summer performance and adds, "The crisis of the European economy naturally affects the activity of TAP, but the company takes advantage of the fact that over 70% of its revenues are derived in foreign markets, benefitting in particular its capacity to connect Europe to Africa and Brazil."
