Sriwijaya Air to expand to full service operations in 2013

Sriwijaya Air, an Indonesian airline, plans to expand into full service operation within the next two to three years, according to report in The Jakarta Post. Commercial director Toto Nursatyo stated: "All of our planes will have eight business class seats next year in preparations for becoming a full-service airline in near future."

The carrier expects to take delivery of its first of 20 E190 in Aug-2012 which "will be used for lower-density routes as feeders for routes covered by Sriwijaya's Boeing series".
