South Korean traffic recovered to pre-crisis levels in Feb-2010

South Korea's Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs reported air passenger numbers and cargo volumes in Feb-2010 have recovered to pre-global financial crisis levels (CAAC News, 2010).

• Passenger numbers:
  • International: 3.1 million, +12.6% year-on-year and -3.8% when compared to Feb-2008;
  • Domestic: 1.5 million, +26.0% year-on-year and +14.0% when compared to Feb-2008;
• Cargo volume: 215,000 tonnes, +21.8% year-on-year and +1.4% when compared to Feb-2008.
