Some European airports continue to suffer from snow

European airports continued to suffer flight delays and cancellations due to ongoing snowfalls across the continent on 07-Dec-2010:

  • Ireland:
    • Belfast International Airport: announced (07-Dec-2010) delays can be expected on some flights. [more]
    • Dublin Airport: stated it is now "completely operational" but warned further disruptions are possible if weather conditions deteriorate (Business & Leadership, 07-Dec-2010);
  • France:
    • Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport: France DGAC (General Directorate for Civil Aviation) stated around 20% of flights from the airport are to be cancelled on 08-Dec-2010 due to expected snowfall (Associated Press, 07-Dec-2010). The authority requested airlines cancel some flights from the airport between 07:00 and 17:00 on the day.
  • Russia:
    • Ulyanovsk airports: closed on 06-Dec-2010 and 07-Dec-2010 (Itar-Tass, 07-Dec-2010). Ulyanovsk International Airport was closed for the entirety of 06-Dec-2010, while Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport was closed from "time to time" on 06-Dec-2010 and 07-Dec-2010.
