SkyWest revenue down 13% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2013:

  • Total operating revenue: USD803.5 million, -12.8% year-on-year;
  • Total operating costs: USD787.9 million, -12.5%;
    • Labour: USD297.4 million, +2.3%;
    • Aircraft maintenance, materials and repairs: USD167.2 million, -6.9%;
  • Operating profit: USD15.6 million, -23.9%;
  • Net profit (loss): USD3.2 million, compared to a loss of USD0.7 million in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 14.0 million, +5.0%;
  • Passenger load factor: 78.8%, +1.7 ppt;
  • Passenger breakeven load factor: 79.0%, +2.0 ppts;
  • Yield: USD 10.8 cents, -16.9%;
  • Revenue per ASM: USD 8.7 cents, -14.7%;
  • Cost per ASM: USD 8.8 cents, -13.7%;
