Skymark reports sharp profit increases in nine months to 31-Dec-2011

Skymark revenue up 42% - financial highlights for nine months ended 31-Dec-2011 (according to Japanese Accounting Standards):

  • Operating revenue: USD757.2 million, +42.4% year-on-year;
  • Costs: USD569.6 million, +44.6%;
  • Gross profit: USD187.5 million, +36.3%;
  • Operating profit: USD155.7 million, +38.9%;
  • "Recurring profit": USD144.0 million, +36.9%;
  • Net profit: USD71.4 million, +40.2%;
  • Total assets: USD794.9 million, +64.8% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011;
  • Cash on hand and in banks: USD380.9 million, +79.8% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011;
  • Total liabilities: USD270.0 million, +4.6% when compared to period ended 31-Mar-2011.

The carrier stated its forecast for FY2012 ending 31-Mar-2012 remains unchanged, as follows:

  • Revenue: USD1065 million;
  • Operating profit: USD221.2 million;

  • Net profit: USD114.5 million, +14.3%.
