Singapore Airlines willing to sell Virgin Atlantic stake

Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong reiterated that its 49% stake in Virgin Atlantic is for sale, but declined to answer questions on which - if any - bidders have made approaches. "They can make an offer and we will evaluate it and we will make decision based on that," he said (Aircargo Asia Pacific, 08-Jun-2011). Mr Goh also said the company is not opposed to mergers and acquisition possibilities and would look at future opportunities.
