Seating density biggest difference between Comair and Kulula: Comair CEO

Comair (South Africa) CEO Erik Venter, speaking at CAPA's Airlines in Transition conference in Dublin, stated (10-Apr-2014) the biggest difference between its mainline full-service Comair operation and low-cost Kulula unit is seating density. Overall there is a 25%-30% difference in cost base between Comair and Kulula, Mr Venter said, with Kulula having the lower cost base.
