Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport pax up 12% in Jul-2014

Russia's Saint Petersburg Pulkovo Airport reported (18-Aug-2014) a 12.4% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 1.8 million in Jul-2014, including a 26.7% increase in domestic passengers to 839,251 and a 1.9% increase in international passengers to 914,679. Aircraft movements increased 4.1% to 14,844. The largest carrier at the airport was Rossiya, which transported 591,927 passengers in Jul-2014, up 3%. The airport noted the largest Russian carriers were Rossiya, Transaero, Aeroflot, UTair and Orenburg Airlines, which transported a combined 1.1 million passengers, 15% more than Jul-2013. The largest foreign carriers were Lufthansa, Uzbekistan Airways, Aegean Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Bulgaria Air, which transported a combined 116,868 passengers, down 0.5%.
