Sabre: Google airline distribution platform ahead in engineering but not for customers

Sabre Airline Solutions VP marketing Stan Boyer, speaking at CAPA's Airlines in Transition Conference on 25/26-Mar-2015, stated (26-Mar-2015) he does not think that Google will take over travel distribution. Where Google lead is "from an engineering point of view" but not from a customer point of view. Other companies such as Facebook or WhatsApp "could completely kill Google's travel plans". Mr Boyer said Google is not adding value to customers.
