Russia's PM, Vladimir Putin, challenges Austrian Airlines over change of ownership

Austrian Airlines will reportedly receive a temporary extension of its permit to operate into Russia to Feb-2010 (RCBnews, 11-Nov-2009). Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, stated that additional talks on air services are necessary and extended the operating permit until mid-Nov-2009. Putin cautioned that some provisions of the operating agreement could be revised due to the airline's change in ownership. Lufthansa acquired Austrian Airlines in Sep-2009.
