Russian airlines report 33% jump in 1Q2010 pax

Russia's Federal Aviation Agency reports the following traffic highlights for domestic airlines for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

• Passenger numbers: 10.1 million, +33.4% year-on-year;
  • Aeroflot: 2.3 million, +31.9%;
  • Transaero: 1.2 million, +74.8%;
  • S7: 987,821, +30.4%;
  • UTair: 944,695, +63.8%;
  • Orenburg Airlines: 348,623, +57.3%;
• Passenger load factor: 73.6%, +7.1 ppts;
  • Aeroflot: 72.9%, +11.7 ppts;
  • Transaero: 80.9%, +6.7 ppts;
  • S7: 71.8%, +2.8 ppts;
  • UTair: 71.9%, +3.2 ppts;
  • Orenburg Airlines: 97.1%, +1.7 ppt.
