Russian airlines report 11% fall in Jul-2009 pax

Russia's Federal Aviation Agency reports (02-Sep-2009) the following traffic highlights in Jul-2009:

  • Passenger numbers: 5.3 million, -10.8% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 2.7 million, -11.9%;
    • International: 2.6 million, -9.6%;
  • Passenger load factor: 81.9%, +2.0 ppts;
    • Domestic: 84.3%, +1.8 ppt;
    • International: 84.3%, +1.8 ppt;
  • Cargo volume: 58,445 tonnes, -15.0%;
    • Domestic: 17,248 tonnes, -20.4%;
    • International: 41,196 tonnes, -12.5%.
