Russia won't privatise Moscow Sheremetyevo before 2013

Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin stated Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport will not be privatised before 2013 (Airport-Technology, 03-Nov-2010). Mr Levitin stated Sheremetyevo Airport, which is wholly owned by the Russian Government, was not included in the government's medium-term privatisation programme. First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov has stated a decision will be taken considering the development of the entire Moscow air hub system, including Domodedovo International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport. Credit Suisse and Troika Dialog will work as consultants to determine a strategy for Sheremetyevo Airport's privatisation after its assets are consolidated.
