Russia reports top domestic airlines by pax for first five months of 2012

Russia's Federal Aviation Agency reported (29-Jun-2012) the following top airlines by passenger numbers for the five months ended 31-May-2012:

• Passenger numbers:
  • Aeroflot: 6.3 million, +27.8% year-on-year;
  • Transaero: 3.2 million, +28.3%;
  • UTair: 2.8 million, +58.7%;
  • S7: 2.1 million, +16.3%;
  • Rossiya: 1.4 million;
• Passenger load factor:
  • Aeroflot: 74.0%, -0.9 ppt;
  • Transaero: 81.2%, +3.0 ppts;
  • UTair: 71.0%, +1.5 ppts;
  • S7: 75.4%, +3.8 ppts;
  • Rossiya: 71.2%, +1.5 ppts.
