Royal Jordanian 787 fleet to grow to five by the end of 2014

Royal Jordanian (RJ) announced (28-Aug-2014) it will take delivery of four more Boeing 787s over the rest of 2014, taking its 787 fleet to five aircraft by the end of 2014. The assimilation is part of the strategic plan the airline is implementing to modernise its fleet of long-range aircraft. The remainder of the carrier's order for 11 787s will join the fleet during the next few years. RJ chairman, president and CEO Nasser Lozi said the 787s will pave the way for Royal Jordanian to step into a significant new period, and is a step that pushes the national carrier of Jordan forward in terms of onboard services and route network, enhancing its competitiveness at regional and international levels.
