Royal Brunei Airlines restructuring difficult but necessary: deputy chairman

Royal Brunei Airlines deputy chairman Dermot Mannion, at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (04-Aug-2015) the airline's recent restructuring programme was difficult but necessary and allowed the carrier to better compete with LCCs on regional routes and full service long-haul airlines. Mr Mannion said the airline maintains "price proximity" with LCCs and its codeshares and partnerships help it compete with LCCs.
