Royal Brunei Airlines not planning immediate growth in China beyond China Eastern codeshare

Royal Brunei Airlines deputy chairman Dermot Mannion, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit, said (23-Nov-2015) the carrier is not planning immediate growth in China beyond the commencement of a codeshare deal with China Eastern Airlines. Mr Mannion explained: "Currently, we're focusing on putting a very important codeshare in place with China Eastern to open some beyond points." Mr Mannion continued: "It's very good news that we've got access, but we need to grow our markets of Shanghai and Hong Kong first before we move to other points."
