Rome Fiumicino Airport announces 1% increase in Jan-2012 pax, cargo down 11%

Italy's Rome Fiumicino Airport passenger numbers up 1.0% - traffic highlights for Jan-2012:

Passenger numbers: 2.5 million, +1.0% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 879,740, -0.4%;
- International: 1.5 million, +1.9%;
Cargo volume: 9681 tonnes, -11.4%;
Aircraft movements: 22,856, -7.2%;
- Domestic: 9133, -9.9%;
- International: 13,723, -5.1%.
