REDjet delayed due to safety

REDjet's delay in launching service to Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica comes from its failure to meet the country's safety standards (guardian.co.tt, 17-Jun-2011). Barbados Minister of Transport George Hutson, Jamaica's Michael Henry and T&T's Jack Warner believe once the carrier reaches the safety standards, it will be able to operate the services.
