Qatar Airways not interested in acquiring and restructuring a weaker carrier

Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker said the carrier is focused on developing its own business and does not want to take on the financial problems of restructuring a weaker carrier. "Qatar Airways is not interested in an acquisition at this time. We do not just acquire loss-making entities because we are going to get it at a very good price," he said, as quoted by The National.
