Premium traffic up 10.9% in Oct-2010: IATA

IATA reports (16-Dec-2010) the following premium traffic growth highlights by region in Oct-2010:

• Total international: +10.9% year-on-year;
  • Within Africa: +8.7%;
  • Within Far East: +18.3%;
  • Within Middle East: +5%;
  • Within North America: +12.6%;
  • Within Southwest Pacific: +21.2%;

IATA: "Business confidence data continues to show that the corporate sector remains optimistic. There was a peak in May but confidence has moved upwards once more in the past two months.
