Philippine Airlines Employee’s Association files strike notice

Philippine Airlines (PAL) employee members of the PAL Employee's Association (PALEA) reportedly filed a notice of intention to call strike action in protest of the proposal by the airline to cut jobs and/or outsource operations (AP, 01-Feb-2010). A date of the proposed action was not disclosed. PALEA represents approximately 3,900 PAL employees.
