Perth Airport CEO: Long-haul LCCs discovered 'where Perth was' at time of GFC

Australia's Perth Airport CEO Brad Geatches, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, stated (06-Aug-2014) "international low-costs discovered, with our assistance, where Perth was" at the time of the global financial crisis (GFC). Mr Geatches added LCCs "kept our momentum going through the GFC", and that "we've seen in the last 12-18 months that the inbound [market] is responding."
