Pakistan International Airlines submits five-year survival plan to Government

Pakistan International Airlines submitted a five-year survival plan to the Pakistan Government promising to make cutbacks and improve its fleet in a bid to increase revenues, if the treasury agrees to cancel its debt and pay other creditors, according to spokesman Sultan Hassan (AFP/paktribune.com, 10-Nov-2010). Under the plan, the carrier will purchase 40 aircraft over the next five years.
