OMA reports net profit down 30.4% in 1Q2010

Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA) reports (23-Apr-2010) the following financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:
  • Revenue: USD42.0 million, +4.9% year-on-year;
    • Aeronautical: USD32.8 million, +1.0%;
    • Non-aeronautical: USD9.1 million, +21.6%;
  • Operating costs: USD25.3 million, +12.2%;
  • EBITDA (adjusted): USD23 million, -1.1%;
  • Operating profit: USD13.5 million, -7.8%;
  • Net profit: USD8.5 million, -30.4%; (because of higher operating expenses, increased taxes, and an increase in comprehensive financial expense
  • Passenger numbers: 2.8 million, -8.2%;
  • Cargo volume: +37.8%;
  • Aircraft movements: 84,022, +2.1%. [more]
