OAG forecasts 7% rise in global seat capacity in Aug-2010
OAG reports (02-Aug-2010) global airline capacity and frequency in Aug-2010 will increase 7% and 6% year-on-year, respectively. Details include:
- Global: capacity +7%, scheduled services +6% year-on-year;
- Within Europe: +7%, +5%;
- To/from Europe: +7%, +8%;
- Within Africa: +9%, +9%;
- To/from Africa: +12%, +13%;
- Within North America: +1%, +1%;
