New Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport project launched

Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 commenced (10-Sep-09) Phase I of the USD250 million New Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport project. Phase I, which will be completed in Sep-2010, will include replacing the old Terminal C for a new domestic terminal. Upon completion of the overall project, the airport will have capacity to handle 13 million passengers p/a. Other details of the project include:

  • 17 aerobridges;
  • 40 gates;
  • A new air traffic control tower;
  • 5 new parking bays;
  • 4,500 car parking spaces;
  • 100 check-in desks.
