Australia and Qatar sign new ASA allocating up to 50% more capacity between two countries

Australia's Minister or Infrastructure and Regional Development Warren Truss signed (24-Sep-2015) an expanded Air Services Agreement (ASA) with Qatar, allocating up to 50% greater capacity between the two countries. Mr Truss said: "The new arrangements provide for an immediate 50% increase in available capacity between Qatar and Australia's major gateway locations of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth." Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Robb added: "Qatar Airways is likely to commence a daily service between Sydney and Doha."
