Milan Malpensa Airport announces 5% decrease in Jan-2012 pax, cargo down 19%

Italy's Milan Malpensa Airport passenger numbers - traffic highlights for Jan-2012:

Passenger numbers: 1.4 million, -5.2% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 243,784, -9.2%;
- International: 1.1 million, -4.4%;
Cargo volume: 28,586 tonnes, -18.9%;
Aircraft Movements: 12,944, -14.0%;
- Domestic: 2284, -20.3%;
- International: 10,660, -12.5%.
