Mexicana workers call for security deposit for any new bidders

Mexicana workers unions demanded the Ministry of Communications and Transport require any bidders for the airline to pay a deposit with the Ministry before attempting to relaunch the airline (cnnexpansion.com, 03-Mar-2011). The call comes after PC Capital failed to provide the necessary funding for Mexicana to resume operations, despite six months of involvement. The deadline for a new creditors agreement is 01-Apr-2011.
