Mergers/consolidation in the Middle East unlikely without privatisation

Arab Air Carriers Organisation Secretary General, Abdul Wahab Teffaha, stated national agendas mean there is unlikely to be significant merger or consolidation activity in the Middle East until there is further airline privatisation (AMEinfo, 27-Apr-2010).
