Malta's pax traffic up in Feb-2011 on Libya flights

Malta International Airport reports passenger traffic up 17.8% - traffic highlights in Feb-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 174,877, +17.8%;
  • Aircraft movements: 1691, +18.6%;
  • Air cargo: 1252, +4.5%.

Passenger traffic to and from Libya increased 59.4% in Feb-2011, and passenger traffic from the Middle East was up 45.0%.
