Malaysian Airlines appoints new Managing Director/CEO

Malaysia Airlines announced the appointment of Tengku Dato' Azmil Zahruddin as the carrier's new Managing Director and CEO, effective 28-Aug-09. Tengku Dato' Azmil replaces Dato' Sri Idris Jala, who resigned following his appointment as a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and as the CEO of Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU).
