MAHB forecasts revenue from non-aeronautical business to increase 20%

Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd forecasts revenue from non-aeronautical activities would increase 20% year-on-year in 2009, to USD132 million (Bernama, 31-Mar-2010). Among others, MAHB is increasing the retail space and product mix at its airports. Managing Director, Tan Sri Bashir Ahmad stated passenger tariff is expected grow better than the 4-5% projected for 2010. There has also been request for MAHB to manage two airports in Asia, but further detailed were not provided.
