Madrid Barajas Airport reports 5th consecutive month of positve pax growth in Jun-2014

Spain's Madrid Barajas Airport reported (09-Jul-2014) its fifth consecutive month of passenger growth in Jun-2014, with 3.7 million passengers travelling through the airport, an increase of 5.1% year-on-year. Aircraft movements increased 5.5% to 30,088 and cargo volume increased 4% to 28,406 tonnes. In 1H2014, passenger numbers have increased 3.2% to 19.5 million, cargo volume increased 5.9% to 176,211 tonnes and aircraft movements increased 1.5% to 165,880. [more - original PR - Spanish]
