Macquarie Group threatens to walk away from MAp deal

Macquarie Group has reportedly threatened to walk away from the AUD345 million (USD297 million) deal to internalise the management of Macquarie Airports (MAp) if the shareholder vote on 30-Sep-2009 is delayed by Global Airports (GAp) (The Australian, 28-Sep-2009). GAp will continue a hearing at the NSW Supreme Court today in an attempt to delay the shareholder vote.
