LOT and other small EU carriers have difficultly in joining European airline consolidation

LOT acting CEO Marcin Celejewski, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit 2015, stated (07-Oct-2015) that LOT and other small EU carriers have difficultly in joining European airline consolidation or attaching themselves to larger European airline group structures. The small European airlines "still want to make it happen for them" and consolidation offers them an opportunity to improve their competitive positions.
