Copenhagen Airport reports record February traffic in 2015, driven by long-haul services

Copenhagen Kastrup Airport passenger numbers up 1% - traffic highlights for Feb-2015:

• Passenger numbers: 1.7 million, +1.2%;
• • Domestic: 116,650, -5.0%;
  • International: 1,560,550, +1.7%;
• Aircraft movements: 17,821, -1.7%;
• • Domestic: 2175, -1.9%;

The airport noted (11-Mar-2015) long-haul services in particular showed good growth, up 4%, resulting in a record for the month of February. European traffic grew by 1.4%, intercontinental traffic was up by 3.9%, while domestic traffic was down by 5.0% due to lower capacity on a number of the Danish domestic routes.
